Speaking at the FITC Unconference at Adobe MAX 2010 Jon Keon

Well I got the good news that I’ve been fortunate enough to be selected as a speaker at the FITC Unconference at Adobe MAX this year.

It takes place on October 23rd until the 27th in Los Angeles, California and it’s shaping up to be a pretty cool conference. A lot of announcements are going to be made at this year’s MAX including a look at a new Flash 3D API that I’m really looking forward to. Not only that, but there are loads of other great speakers from around the world in all aspects of the industry speaking at MAX and the Unconference that’s a wealth of knowledge.

You can see my presentation brief here, but really it’s an extension off of a previous proof of concept post on Procedural Generation of Celestial bodies. It’s been a few months and I’ve been working on adding more features and visuals that I’m really excited to share. I won’t spill the beans now but I’ll be showing a lot of demos and walking though how the various planets, suns, and other space objects are created just from code so you can go home and tinker around with your own procedural creations.

I hope to see you there on Monday October 25th at 2:30pm in the FITC Unconference room!
